coffee no. 25

One of my friends who works in the bookshop told me about very peculiar customer. That man buys several books a month but the process of buying is long-standing and really strange. They call him "Mr. Perfectionist" because he carefully chooses not the novel itself (or another kind of book) but the copy of it. The situation is always the same. When he knows what he would like to buy, he asks the assistant to show him all the copies they have in the shop. Next, he precisely compares one book with another, for example opening the two books on the same page and checking the colour of paper, types, and God only knows what else. Sometimes this occupation takes him more than hour. Finally he finds the ideal copy and buys it.
I wonder how does he read the books. Maybe in gloves...
